Alabama Family Central Website
On September 28, Governor Kay Ivey announced the launch of the Alabama Family Central website, which has been a goal for several years through the priorities of the Governor’s Children’s Cabinet. As a single platform for families to access services and programs, it’s a comprehensive, easy web and mobile destination that offers parents and families, guardians, teachers and caregivers a one-stop connection to programs and services in Alabama.
Since virtual learning has increased due to COVID-19, Alabama Family Central is also currently highlighting A+ Education Partnership’s new COVID-19 Parent Resource site. The website offers organized, easy-to-use resources to assist parents and caregivers as they help their children learn from home.
State agency partners include Departments of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention, Early Childhood Education, Education, Human Resources, Medicaid, Mental Health, Public Health, Rehabilitation Services/Early Intervention, with support from the Office of Information Technology.
