Grantees from all over the state launched Child Abuse Prevention Month today by wearing blue, planting Pinwheels for Prevention gardens, and issuing proclamations. CTF Director Sallye Longshore was interviewed on Channel 19 News at a launch in Decatur to talk about the importance of prevention as a policy. Many thanks to all of our partners across Alabama who held events today and will continue holding events throughout the month of April.
