Mr. Gilbert Darrington

Mr. Gilbert F. Darrington assumed his responsibilities as the new Chief Executive Officer of Health Services, Inc. on October 19, 2015 after the retirement of former C. Bernell Mapp. Mr. Darrington was employed as the Director of Human Resources with Jackson Hospital for 10 years. As the new CEO of Health Services Inc., Mr. Darrington continues with his plans to work closely with healthcare providers toward the goal of providing the residents of Montgomery County and surrounding areas greater access to quality health care, while at the same time, transitioning Health Services Inc. into the model health care system nationwide.

Mr. Darrington holds a M.A. degree in Human Resources Development, B.S. in Occupational Education, B.S.O.E. in Business Administration/Healthcare Administration, A.A. in general studies, LPN certification, and is a U.S. Army retiree.
