Mrs. Kate Vance

Kate Vance attended Auburn University where she graduated with a BA, majoring in Marketing.  She started her career in the Financial Services industry in Atlanta, GA when she joined the firm, FSC, as a Marketing Manager for mutual funds.  Six years later, she joined Eaton Vance, a Boston based Mutual Fund and Money Manager, as a Regional Sales Manager.  In her role, she called on Financial Advisors in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.  She was promoted to Regional Vice President.

Kate served 2 terms on the Board of Child Protect , a child abuse advocacy center in Montgomery.  During her tenure, Kate served as Co Chairman to the Capital Campaign to build an addition to the Child Protect facility.  Under her leadership, they raised over $800,000 and were able to build the new facility with no debt to the organization.

Kate is married to Gibson Vance, an attorney with Beasley Allen.  They have two adult sons, Carter and Andrew.  The Vance’s reside in Montgomery, Al.
