Parent Advisory Council

The Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention established a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) in June. Parents from across the state were appointed, and PAC orientation was held on July 8 and 9. The PAC is a strategic partner with the Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention/The Children’s Trust Fund. The PAC ensures there are strong parent voices in shaping programs, services and strategies that result in better outcomes for children and families. Parent council members bring a diverse range of expertise in prevention strategies and resources and in helping support families across the state of Alabama.
