Mr. Willie Durham

Willie Durham is a lifelong resident of Montgomery who proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps for over 20 years, retiring in 2003. He established his State Farm Insurance Agency in 2005, where he quickly became recognized as an industry leader.   His agency has qualified for State Farm’s Chairman Circle since 2019 which represents the top 3% of All State Farm Agencies within The Company!   He was selected to serve on the State Farm President’s Advisory Council from 2020-2023 representing over 19,000 agents across the company.

Durham believes in being a Good Neighbor - exhibited by his community involvement.  He serves on several boards, including Commissioner with The Montgomery Housing Authority, Chairman of The Montgomery Board of Equalization, Montgomery Chamber of Commerce (Past Chairman), Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club (Past President), Hope Inspired Ministries, The Mercy House,, and Baptist Health.

Mr. Durham has been recognized by Auburn University at Montgomery’s Business Leadership Award, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Citizen of the Year, Delta Sigma Theta’s Sorority, Inc., Trail Blazer of the Year, Girl Scouts of South Alabama Leading Workplace for Women, and River Region Ethics in Business and Public Service Small Business Award Recipient.

A man of faith, Mr. Durham is a devoted member of the New Home Mt. Meigs Missionary Baptist Church, where he currently serves as Chairman of The Deacons Ministry.   In 2019 The Durham Family was recognized by The Family Guidance Center as one of their Families of the Year.

Durham is married to the former Terrie Fleming and they have a son.
