Request for Proposal

For over 40 years, the Department has worked on behalf of those most vulnerable in our state. Our programs provide essential services to children and families to prevent child abuse and neglect. The types of programs included are Fatherhood, Home Visiting, Mentoring, School-based, Non-School Based, Parent Education and Support, Community Awareness and Training, and Respite Care. These programs are supported by state and federal dollars.


Apply for Funding

For 2026-2027, the grant application is now available. Eligible applicants for ADCANP grants are local or statewide public entities or private non-profit organization meeting the requirements of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The application for Traditional Grants is now closed.

For Fatherhood Grants, qualified organizations may apply for funding beginning June 26, 2026, with the application closing August 7, 2026. Organizations are required to submit a separate application for each program applying for funding.
