Mr. Joe Lovvorn

District 3 Representative

Joe Lovvorn represents Lee County in the Alabama House of Representatives. First elected in a special election in 2016, Joe has worked to keep East Alabama at the forefront with state projects and funding. Joe was appointed by the Speaker of the House to serve as the Chairman of the House Rules Committee. He is also a Member of the Education Ways & Means Committee, Joint Legislative Council, Joint Committee on State Parks, and The Energy Council. He is the Chairman of the Lee County Legislative Delegation. He concentrates his legislative time working to maximize taxpayer dollars invested in Education, Broadband and Technology Expansion, Public Safety, and Economic Development. In August 2021, Joe retired as a Battalion Chief with the Auburn Fire Department, where he began employment during college. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Economics and an M.B.A. from Auburn University. Joe is a champion for small business, as he himself is the owner of Two Men And A Truck moving franchises and a real estate developer. He spends his best days with his wife of 19 years, Jenifer, and their two teenage boys.
