Royce Smith

Miss Royce V. Smith is a resident of Mobile, Alabama, and a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She also holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Florida State University. After the birth of her daughter, Royce transitioned into being a stay-at-home mom, where she quickly familiarized herself with community resources available to new parents. From Medicaid and WIC appointments to Parent Success Training, she navigated various systems and gained invaluable knowledge in prevention services. This experience fueled her passion for advocacy, and she has since become a dedicated champion for children and families in Mobile and across Alabama.

Royce has taken on roles such as Parent Leadership Coordinator, Peer Leader, and Facilitator of parenting classes. Her background as a Maternal and Child Health Program Manager with the Mobile County Health Department allowed her to train both staff and parents on parent leadership resources and safety programs. In addition to her professional work, she is a devoted mother to her daughter.
