I’m Jonathan Hornsby, and I’m proud to be a member of the Parent Advisory Council for the Alabama Children’s Trust Fund. I’m married to my wonderful wife, Meredith, and we’re parents to three amazing kids.

My journey as an advocate for children began with the birth of my youngest daughter, Caroline, who was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy. This experience opened my eyes to the challenges many families face and fueled my passion for supporting children with special needs and their families.

Our family is heavily involved with United Ability in Birmingham, an organization that serves over 5,400 individuals with special needs. Additionally, I’m a founding member of the Birmingham Area Dads of Kids with Special Needs, where we meet regularly to share experiences, provide support, and build friendships as we navigate our unique journeys.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Parent Advisory Council and to contribute to making a positive impact for children and families across Alabama.
