Roman Brasfield

Roman Brasfield is a devoted husband and father of two sons, ages 7 and 1½. He married his wife, Carli, in April 2023, and family plays a central role in his life. Roman is a UAB graduate and works at the UAB Cancer Center, where he manages budgets for cancer research studies, and he is deeply committed to growing in his faith. In his free time, he enjoys Auburn sports, golf, and spending time with his family, especially during game nights.

Roman’s youngest son was born prematurely at 26 weeks, weighing just 1 pound 1 ounce, and spent 403 days in the hospital. While the journey was incredibly challenging, it strengthened their family and deepened their faith. Since coming home in July 2025, his son has been thriving, inspiring Roman and his family to raise awareness and support other families facing similar circumstances.
