Triona White

Congressional District 2

Triona is a native of Birmingham Alabama, proud mother of two sons ages 27 and 25 leading successful lives. Currently, she lives in Montgomery Alabama with her husband Dewayne. Triona has earned her Associate Degree in Applied Technology and is a Certified Accountant. One day, she hopes to attain her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and use those skills to start a non-emergency transportation service for people to get to their medical appointments on time. Triona also volunteers some of her time with the nonprofit organization Aid to Inmate Mothers (AIM) who offer services to incarcerated women with the significance of amplifying personal growth and strengthening the bonds between inmate mothers and their children.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, feeding stray animals (loves her grand doggies), singing, and painting. Her passion for helping others was ingrained in her early on in life by witnessing her mother give so much of herself by helping others in need at times offering meals and at other times just encouraging words. As a PAC member, Triona is eager to take part in a great cause to listen, learn, and engage in seeking out solutions that will strengthen our communities.
