Governor Kay Ivey signed a proclamation recognizing April 2026 as Child Abuse Prevention Month during a ceremony held Thursday, April 16, at the Alabama State Capitol. Representatives from the Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention, the Children’s Trust Fund of Alabama, and partner agencies, including the Alabama Department of Human Resources, gathered for the event, highlighting Alabama’s ongoing commitment to supporting children and families.
